Anyway i want to straightpipe my v6 n/a tiburon (as in just cutting out the mufflers and putting straight pipes there) and i have been reading up on it but i found some conflicting information. If it shifts fine "engine off", that sorta rules out the shifter and linkage (not totally though). To test synchros, a "slow shift" or "double clutch/rev match" can test that. When i rev the engine, thats when the pulsing starts. if i put it in gear and apply brakes to get the rpms to around 1k and i then put it in neutral, and let off brakes, (basically bringing the load and rpms down to 1k, it then idles fine.). If you want to swap your 2.0 to a 2.7 i would recommend buying a salvage 05-06 GT/SE that's been in a rear-end accident, that way you have literally all the parts you could need to do the swap.
