Once a sear engagement adjustment was added in the first year or two, the triggers became pretty darn good. By changing springs and honing the engagement surfaces, most Kimber triggers can be safely reduced to about 1 to 1.5 pounds.The 1st gen 60s , no lsbho, had a metal trigger group. The 2nd gen , with lshbho, has a plastic trigger group. And That includes the trigger blade . The trigger blade is the thingy that pushes the sear. Dip sells just a metal triger blade , and spring , which is really all you need.Lubricate the trigger group with a small amount of your favorite light oil. Run a couple of boxes more of your favorite ammo. If the trigger is still not to your liking, go the Timney route.
